Two graduate workshops offered for graduate students of EPOKA University, graduate students and early career researchers, interested in European Studies, from the region and beyond.
The aim of the workshop is to enhance knowledge sharing on EU-WB relationship; critical thinking on issues and dynamics in this relationship; improve research and presentation skills; and contribute in maturing research conducted by graduate students.
First WB-EUPath Graduate Workshop organized on May 17, 2024 by The Center for European Studies, in collaboration with the Department of Political Science and International Relations and Department of Law at EPOKA University.
The workshop consisted of one-to-one mentorship sessions offered to workshop participants by the academic staff of the Department of Political Science and International Relations, Department of Law, and Center for European Studies at EPOKA University and WB-EUPath external expert Dr. Ognen Vangelov. Participants with a graduate degree and graduate students presented their research ideas on different topics related to the EU integration process of the Western Balkans, welcomed the feedback offered by the academic staff, and engaged in discussions among each other.
The workshop was organized within the framework of the Jean Monnet Module Project “EU Integration of Western Balkans: Patterns and Issues” (WB-EUPath Module) led by EPOKA University and co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the EU.
The Center for European Studies, in collaboration with the Department of Political Science and International Relations at EPOKA University, successfully organized the Second WB-EUPath Graduate Workshop on June 11, 2025.
Workshop participants took part in one-to-one mentorship sessions with the academic staff of the Department of Political Science and International Relations and Center for European Studies at EPOKA University. Graduate students shared their research proposals related to the EU integration process of the Western Balkans, received personalized feedback, and participated in peer-to-peer exchange.
